SIMATIC IPC PX-39A: The powerful embedded panel
The SIMATIC IPC PX-39A is a high-performance panel PC for demanding visualization and control tasks with a multi-touch display. It offers machine, plant and control cabinet manufacturers a powerful, compact PC platform for machine- and process-related use or use in an industrial environment with high system availability thanks to RAID1. The range of applications is from the fully integrated automation computer with e.g. Software Controller CPU1500S (in preparation), to the C/C++-based automation solution with e.g. VxWorks, to “standalone” applications in general IT use.

Application
SIMATIC IPC PX-39A provides machine, plant and control cabinet builders with a high-performance, compact PC platform for use at machine or process level, or in the industrial environment for:
- Measuring and checking, open-loop and closed-loop control of process and machine data
- Acquisition, further processing and visualization of data
- All applications at the machine level, created in C/C++ or with Software Controller/WinCC RT Advanced, which require rugged, ultra-compact IPCs with high computing power
- Additional new applications such as shipbuilding, building automation, water treatment
The application spectrum ranges from automation computers fully integrated in TIA with CPU1500S Software Controllers (available soon), for example, to C/C++-based automation solutions with VxWorks, for example, all the way to “standalone” applications for general IT applications.
SIMATIC IPC PX-39A has the CE marking for use in industrial applications as well as in domestic, business and commercial environments. It can therefore also be used in building automation systems or in public facilities.
Due to the fan-free design and use of SSDs, there are no rotating parts, which increases system availability.
SIMATIC PCs can be ordered in conjunction with WinCC SCADA or WinCC (Advanced, Professional) as SIMATIC HMI packages with a price advantage.
