Parmley Graham was delighted to host an event organised through the Engineering & Manufacturing Network.
In collaboration with Durham University Business School, Teesside University, Jagdesign (4M) Ltd, and Parmley Graham, the event sought to engage with like-minded manufacturing companies across the North East to review and identify the sector’s barriers.
The objective was to understand local manufacturers’ challenges in upskilling their employees while embracing digital transformation and attracting a future workforce to manufacturing.
The event included a tour of our Industry 4.0 technology suite, a mirror image of that in situ at Siemens in Manchester. It comprises some of the latest developments in factory automation and Industry 4.0 technology, all of which can be accessed remotely from anywhere in the world.
We demonstrated to the customers how existing and emerging digital technology can help them tackle their challenges regarding performance optimisation, productivity and future-proofing their operations. We also gave examples of digital applications that have improved productivity and throughput.
The feedback received was very positive. It was great to project what Parmley Graham does with the discussion sparking some interesting conversations.
