Whether you need to measure the flow of liquids, gas or steam, we have the right tools for flow measurement in your process instrumentation system. Parmley Graham has a series of flow sensors and flow meters that can be optimised for a wide range applications. The flow sensors are made from a wide variety of materials with different measuring principles, which can be used to in a wide variety of applications. Thus, the right solution can be found for every application area.

Siemens

Siemens SITRANS F product family includes every step of the flow measurement range, from simple flow indicators to electronic systems compatible with PROFIBUS and TIA Portal.

  • Electromagnetic – DC, AC and battery-operated solutions for measuring conductive liquids.
  • Coriolis – High-precision mass flow and volumetric flow of liquids and gases.
  • Ultrasonic – Maximum versatility with inline and clamp-on options for liquids and gases.
  • Vortex – Multiparameter monitoring of steam, liquids and gases.
  • Variable area – Robust all-metal rotameters for liquids and gases in harsh environments.
  • Differential pressure – Flexible devices suitable for a wide range of liquids, gases and vapours.

There are plenty more options in choosing the right flowmeter for your process instrumentation. Siemens outline their range in the video below.

Some flowmeters can also cross over with other elements of your process instrumentation system – the SITRANS FM100 introduced by Siemens in 2020 is capable of measuring electromagnetic flow and temperature with one device.

Georg Fischer

For very corrosive applications, Georg Fischer (+GF+) have a wide range of flow sensors made from durable plastics. There are various mechanical meters, Turbine Flow sensors, Rotary Flow sensors, and paddle wheel sensors specifically designed for small pipe and low flow applications. Georg Fischer also present a range of Electromagnetic flow meters also aimed at handling corrosive fluids which can be inline or insertion type.

The Ultrasonic Clamp on Flow Meter is an easy solution where cutting into a pipe and causing disturbances in the flow is not an option. Simple solution with meter and transmitter combined suitable for pipe sizes up to 6” (180mm) diameter.

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems

The Bürkert Flow range of sensors covers a wide range of technologies from flow switches to Coriolis meters. FLOWave technology and Thermal Mass Flow stand out in the range.

  • The FLOWave product range is based on SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology and is mainly designed for applications with the highest hygienic demands. A measurement tube free of any wetted parts except for the actual tube. Optimal measurement results can be achieved with homogeneous liquids, free of air and solid particles. Integrated viscosity compensation can be used for liquids with higher viscosity.
  • The Mass Flow thermal inline sensor is located directly in the main gas stream and therefore reaches very fast response times while causing a very low pressure drop.

Kobold Messring

Kobold Messring has range of flow sensors and flow meters that complement the other Parmley Graham solutions using different measuring principles. The range includes Flow Meters, Flow Controllers, Flow Switches and Flow Sensors. The flow sensors are made from a wide variety of materials with different measuring principles, which can be used to in a wide variety of applications. Thus, the right solution can be found for every application area.

Kobold’s flow switches can be used in a variety of applications and perform a number of functions. Flow switches might be used to monitor the flow rate of a liquid, trigger an alarm if the flow is too high or too low or even protect a pump. The flow sensor will usually send an electrical signal to a PLC or other electronic controller.
